Gluten-free, protein-rich, high in fibre and low in carbohydrates
Lupin flour is naturally gluten-free, protein-rich, high in fibre and low in carbohydrates — making it an excellent choice for anyone who wants to bake more healthily or add more plant-based protein and fibre to their daily diet. Thanks to its high nutritional value, you often need less flour than you're used to. Its mild, slightly nutty flavour combines effortlessly with both sweet and savoury dishes.

How to use
Use lupin flour as a flavourful base for bread, pancakes, wraps, cookies, cakes, crackers or in soups, sauces, shakes and smoothies. Lupin flour can fully replace chickpea flour or partially replace wheat flour. Since it contains no gluten, we recommend mixing it with another type of flour for bread and baked goods to achieve the best texture. For pancakes, wraps, cookies and savoury bakes, 10 to 50% lupin flour works best. Try out what works for you.
- Bread & rolls: replace 10–30% of the flour for extra protein and fibre
- Pancakes, wraps & savoury bakes: use 30% lupin flour and mix with other flour types
- Cookies & cakes: gives a beautiful colour, soft full flavour and a chewy texture
- Veg(etari)an burgers & vegan mince: ideal as a binding agent
- Soups & sauces: works excellently as a natural thickener
- Shakes & smoothies: add 1–2 teaspoons for extra protein and creaminess
- Please note: lupin flour has a strong absorption capacity. This may make your dough feel slightly drier when baking. Feel free to add extra water until you get a smooth, workable batter or dough that suits your recipe.
